Adoption Shirts

One of Maria's high school classmates owns a screen printing business in Petal, MS, and he printed some shirts for us to sell to help raise money for the adoption.  If you would like one, we only have a few from the initial print run, please let us know.  If we are out of your size, we will gladly take your name and when we get enough orders, we will get another set printed up.  The cost is a $20 donation to our fund and you can get Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large.

How to order:  There are 2 fundraising buttons to the right.  The Reece's Rainbow fundraising button is more like an anonymous way to give so we can't see the names of those who donate.  The button below that is our paypal and is a non-tax deductible way to give but we are able to see who places an order.  With either account, please contact us so that we can make sure that your order is placed.  It's best to email us at solomonadoption (at) hotmail (dot) com and give us your name, size, and address.  If you would like to pay with a check, email us and we will be glad to send you our address!

The design is meaningful in several ways.  The colors, yellow and blue, are the colors of Down syndrome support.  The Bible verse is one that has touched our hearts throughout this entire process and is a source of strength.

Thank you so much, Craig, for your support!

Please contact Craig & his team at A1 Graphics in Petal for all your screen printing needs!

A Yard Sale For Funds!

Some friends of ours, the Coleman's, who were very instrumental in doing God's work in our lives answering questions about adoption, held a yard sale to help raise funds for Finn.  Shea & Ashley just relocated back to the US shortly before this yard sale took place in September, so not only did they do this amazingly selfless act, they did it while under the stress of an international move!  Oh yeah, they also just completed their adoption of Mikha, their little boy from Ukraine!  Wow... pretty awesome folks!

Below are some photos from the yard sale.  Thanks to the Coleman's efforts, we are able to cover the expense of Finn's VISA!

Thanks ya'll!

New Fundraiser

Hey ya'll!  They say variety is the spice of life, well, when you shop to support our adoption, you can rest assured that we will do our best to give you that variety!

Fresh for today is Adoption Bug!  These folks have some awesome t-shirts just in time for your Christmas shopping.  Why fight the Black Friday sales when you can get everyone on your list a nice gift, and at the same time, support a little boy that will not have a Christmas!

Adoption bug offers 6 t's for you to choose from in a variety of styles.  The best part... $6 from each sale goes to bringing "Finn" home!  That's awesome!

So, go to our storefront on their website by clicking the lady bug box to the right, or visiting www.adoptionbug.com/solomonadoption.

Thank ya'll for all your continued support!

Avon & Ordinary Hero

Hey ya'll!  It's been awhile since we have made a post here.  We have added a couple new fundraisers that I wanted to let ya'll know about.

First, Maria's sister, Michelle Wynne, is an Avon rep near Jackson, MS.  She has a webpage where anyone can go order.  Mention us & she said she'd give "10 for Finn".  10% of your order will be donated to helping us get "Finn" home!  You can get to her page by going to http://michellewynne.avonrepresentative.com/ or by clicking the Avon block (it's the very pink one) under worldwide fundraisers.  Thanks sis!

Second is Ordinary Hero.  This is very Africa adoption oriented, but they will provide us 40% of the order.  This is pretty good ya'll!  You can even buy a sheep for a family that needs food in Africa!  I don't know about ya'll, but that is pretty baaaaa-mazing!  (Yes, I'm a dork!)  They offer apparel, jewlery, you name it.  It's a pretty extensive catalog of items... just in time for Christmas!  See how we take care of ya'll!  This one has some special instructions though to make sure your 40% goes to the right folks.  When you go to checkout, it'll ask you to create an account.  When you create it, there will be an box where you select "Solomon, Christopher" and that will ensure you are affiliated with our account.  You can check our Ordinary Hero by going to http://www.ordinaryherostore.org/ or clicking on the block with the H in the red circle.

We also still have the Photos By Monica fundraiser going on for our folks in South Mississippi.  Contact Monica for your photography needs!

Additionally, we are still running The Scentsy fundraiser, the online yard sale through Ramstein Yard Sales, & the Just Love Coffee fundraiser.  Click the appropriate boxes under fundraisers if you'd like to Christmas shop!  See... still helping ya'll out!

Watch out for more fundraisers that we have just gotten word about!

Photography Fundraiser

Hey Ya'll!

Snuck a new fundraiser in on ya!  THIS ONE IS FOR FOLKS IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI ONLY!

For those of you back in South Mississippi, from Forrest County to the Coast, if you want to help us bring home our son, here's your opportunity.  If you are outside these areas, contact her anyway, and she may be able to set up something for you.  Contact Monica Seals, and she'll set you up with a date & time for a mini-session and you can help us with our adoption fundraising, while getting yourself some fresh family photos!

Monica will be donating 100% of her profits from these sessions to Finn!  This woman has a wonderful heart!

This fundraiser will run from September to December, so get on the phone (or email) Monica today!

Thanks for all your support in helping us get our boy home!

Yard Sale Update... Yes, Another One!

So I sold 3 shelves this week, 1 that was donated by some friends, and 2 that held some military awards & trinkets in the Man Cave.  I also sold our antique wood burning stove.  I hated to part with that one, but it's for a greater cause.  I had just gotten it from an antique dealer near Idar-Oberstein, Germany, before we committed to adopt.  I am glad I sold it to the nice couple that bought it... and she's right, it will look amazing in their log cabin when they return to the States!  A little bit closer to bringing our boy home... thanks for all the continued support!
